brilliant!! love it...the location is obviously a great find, and the composiiton/placement of the people is great. what did it for me is the grin on the top guy's face :D awesome. I only wish the rightmost guy wasnt cut off. nevertheless, worth a :+fav: from me

Thank you! Personally, I kind of like how he's cut off. I feel it adds to the impersonality of the four on the bottom staircase

Amazing photo.
I cant imagine how someone can catch one momento like this so well.
The polygonal forms, the people, the composition... eveything very clean and well placed :)
The stairs texture is very cool too, seens to be marble.

Ok ok, u won another fav for this photo :)

Truly an excellent and whimsical shot. Great timing, eye, and composition on your part! I absolutely love the minimal color, and the really strong diagonal lines. Nice job! :)

clean and pure as child's butt, even that half-cut man on the right ...
the grey makes it very cold, logic somehow while those people create living feel and add dynamics

well done ...

A very well seen and executed image indeed.

It's a shame that one of the figures is sitting right on the edge of the frame, but it's an otherwise excellent image. :)

To me, it seems as if the guy at the top isn't human. He seems a bit, I dunno, "super"human, if you get my meaning. The guys on the lower escalator represent humanity to me. Everybody's stuck in their own little lull. The guy at the top though, he's found a way to go beyond that, hence the smile and completely different demeanor. Also, it could be something similar to that one movie with Nicholas Cage in it - City of Angels. He is dressed in black, after all. =) I like this photo a lot. You did a good job.

As to what I was saying about the City of Angels reference. In that movie, the "guardian angels" were invisible beings. Not noticed by the rest of humanity. They had their fun, while carrying a sort of depressed demeanor. It could be that the man shown who is different is one of the guardian angels, taking a mere turnabout from his daily routines of watching over the folks. Perhaps he is the guardian of the person who is at the lowest point of the photo, looking down. It's as if he's taking a moment to think and break away, so it's time for the angel to do the same thing. This photo really does speak volumes. I loved it from the first time I saw it, so definitely :+fav: for you. =)

I love this :) Great lines, and the funny thing is, even though there is a "human element", they don't really seem human to me. It reminds me of an assembly line or something.
