LOL awesome! I think I've been there, is it that parking garage downtown? Nice shot/idea.

Good shot, have you thought of maybe trying it in Black and White? Could see that working well

Hmm...I didn't think of B&W here...that would certainly change the mood of the shot!

wow I have almost the same shot of a different garage in my gallery. As a result, I can definitely understand your inspiration by the fiew. Good shot, you did a better job of getting the clouds.

Great job at seeing beauty in an unlikely spot (what im fairly sure is a parking structure). The sky, clouds, and time of day all seem to work perfectly for this shot. I'd provide any constructive critism if I thought there was any to give, but for this concept I think you nailed it perfectly! Well done.

You got it! Parking garages are always a good time! :P

The time of day could have been better. The sky was so bright I had to do a bit of HDR to bring it back down

Nice...I tried to do a shot like this when I first got into photography, didn't have a wide enough lens...and still don't. As someone above me mentioned, I like how the pillars offset the symmetry, yet the most obvious thing about the image is the symmetery of the circles.

thanks a ton, Viper.

I don't have an absurdly wide lens either, it was 18mm with the DX 1.5x crop, so 27mm

Yeah, well, you got a step up on me though, my widest is 24mm with the 1.5x (I thought it was 1.6x) crop making it a...whatever it is...not wide enough.
And you're welcome.

This is amazing. I just love this perspective :D

I also have one shot with that perspective, actually 2 shots, so, if u'd like to see it, go check the [link]

I just love this point of view :)

Btw, I think your signature would look much better if put in the center and transparent. This way it gets too much attention. Or, u can put it on the frame in the same corner. Just a thought... ;)

Thanks for the comment! I am happy with my signature the way it is, and I especially don't like center watermarks. They seem way too pretentious to me.

it was just a thought. i see ur point, and must say i agree with that. though, when i look at this again, i must say that i have no idea what was i thinking, cuz now i like it the way it is

anyway, never meant to offend u with a comment, sorry if it sounded like that

Nice capture! It would be interesting to see it with the light equally balanced, perhaps near sunsent or after sunrise, to capture half the build in shadow and the other half with light.

Superb composition... an excellent use of the lines of the pillars to avoid absolute symmetry.
