so the hoya filter screwed on provides IR no problem? or have you dedicated and converted the D70 for this?

i also wonder what IR would look like in HDR.. have you tried?

You don't need to convert the camera. It just takes a lot longer to expose. A dedicated camera would use normal shutter speeds, just all in IR. Unmodified, you can have the shutter open 10" easily in broad daylight.

im glad i finally got that tripod ive been wanting today!

ive only managed a perfect 1/2 second with handheld..

not to say i havent tried for 10 ;)
